The Gay Financial Network (GFN) recently took a look at the top 10 Fortune 500 companies to see how gay-friendly they are. GFN bases its ratings on how the companies stacked up on the Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a rating by the Human Rights Campaign that evaluates companies based on how they treat their gay employees, consumers and investors. Interestingly enough, GFN found that rank on the Fortune 500 was not commensurate with gay-friendliness.
